Those little scamps at Think Geek keep on coming up with new delights with which to tempt your humble narrator (I'm still playing with the Miracle Berry Fruit Tablets I purchased last year).

Now they are enticing me with Doodle Track. The idea is that you take a black magic marker and draw a track on a white sheet of paper, then the little battery-operated Doodle Track Race Car will automatically follow the track as soon in this YouTube Video:

Look, I'm prepared to agree that this is not incredibly impressive compared to all the electronic doodads out there. On the other hand it's simple and fun, and I think younger folks (or folks with younger minds, like yours truly) could have a lot of fun with this. If you have a couple of young kids, you could buy two Doodle Track cars and then enjoy hours of blissful peace and quite as they draw and follow tracks for each other.

Hmmm, maybe I could use that argument on my wife ... she could buy two for our son and me to play with, and then she could have the television to herself...
